Will there be a lengthy delay between the conclusion of the season and the offseason? Once we award the cup, I'll take a couple of days to archive all the season 2 information, get the rerates up and send out award ballots. Once the award voting is finished, I'll flesh out the GMs who aren't returning for season three, post up the draft information and handle the NHL rerates. I'm only going to allow a short window for teams to send in rerate requests and once that is all finished, we'll open trading, hold the draft and get into free agency. I'm hoping as long as everything goes well, the offseason should only last a couple weeks. Remember, our last offseason/cup finals coincided with my wedding and honeymoon. |
