This trade has been officially rejected by the league office.
After speaking with many of our GMs and the GMs involved, I've decided that this trade violates fair trade practices.
While the Boston GM initiated the offer, I feel the WinnipegGM should have known the deal was too lopsided to be passed and try to amend it accordingly.
Trades are made for different reasons and I fully understand that. This wasn't a salary dump and while it was a move to try and rebuild, I feel since the BostonGM was new, it is the responsibility of the league management to try and ensure that new GMs aren't taken advantage of before they are in full understanding of league operations.
Any further discussion on this matter should be made in the Trade thread on the league forum.
