The rebuild has begun for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have agreed to send two first round selections, Edmonton's first round pick as well as Washington's first round selection, along with forward Andrew Ladd and defenseman Sheldon Souray.

In exchange, the Maple Leafs send Brad Richards, Toni Lydman and Daniel Winnik to the Lightning.

Tampa Bay welcomes Brad Richards back home and will move him to LW (http://www.cbssports.com/u/chat/2001/nhl/richards022201.htm) to play with Steven Stamkos and Patrick Sharp.

It's very hard to move Richards since top line centres don't really grow on trees in this league but Harry's offer was just too good for my rebuilding efforts to pass up
