The Edmonton Oilers have placed Alex Giroux, Jeff Finger, Nikolai Khabibulin, Jarkko Ruutu and Jim Vandermeer on waivers.

They will remain on waivers for 24 hours and can be claimed at 1/2 their salary.

The waiver priority list will go in reverse order of our league standings for the previous season.
