Despite back to back shutouts and a three game winning streak, a poor start sealed the fate of some struggling Colorado Avalanche players.
The Avs pulled the trigger on a massive ten player deal today with the Ottawa Senators that should help shake up both teams and get them back into the playoff picture.
To Colorado: Milan Lucic, Ryan Callahan, Erik Cole, Anton Stralman and Tim Gleason
To Ottawa: Jakub Voracek, Colby Armstrong, Teddy Purcell, Marc Staal and Ryan Whitney
